It's been a very long winter. Longer than we're used to here in the south. We've had blizzards and record chills and every shade of gray imaginable.
But right now, I'm looking out my bedroom window. It's open. The air coming in is fresh, but not cold. The sun is shining. Now a pale sort of early spring - but actually shining! I can see the first flowers in the park across the street from here. The people who pass my window aren't dressed to resemble the Michelin Man - they're wearing shades!
I can't describe the feeling I get when spring arrives. The closest I can get is to tell you to listen to Paul Simon's Graceland.
This was just what I needed. Gratia Plena.
